In this all ages pasta making workshop, you will make your own naturally colored pasta dough from scratch. Learn techniques for injecting all the colors of the rainbow (and vegetables!) into pasta dough, using purees, liquids and powders. After discussing options for perfect sauces to pair with your rainbow colored pasta, you’ll practice rolling and cutting the dough into beautiful multicolored farfalle, or “butterflies” in Italian. Seamlessly add stripes and polka dots. Learn how to dry, store and cook this pasta to highlight its beauty.
You will make and take home a batch of handmade rainbow farfalle, as well as colorful garganelli and tie-dyed noodles!
This class has something for pasta novices as well as experienced home pasta makers. You’ll love learning about farfalle pasta, its origins, how it’s made, almost as much as you’ll enjoy eating it!
For ages 12 and up. Youth ages 12-18 must be with an adult.
$80 per person. This is an in-person class at Teaching Table. Space is limited.

*In Pasta Make and Take, there is no tasting. You will take home your shaped pasta to dry and cook at home.
